Had a similar situation on embarkation day back in April on Icon. Reservation was for noon and we couldn't get to Chops on time, we showed up late around 1pm. They just sat us and we had lunch, no biggie.

Plastic luggage floats pretty good. Toss it overboard and have your friends fish it out. What could go wrong? j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k!!!

Past April when we disembarked Icon we were off the ship by 8:00am. You'll make it if you get in the disembark line early. We got in line around 7:15a.

I found the food quality at the Icon Windjammer to be acceptable. There are many different items so finding something edible is easy. After all, it's a buffet and not getting food poisoning is a plus.

Yeah I thought whoever thought these were a good seat idea should be fired. Or made to sit in them for 3-4 hours straight!

Just got off Icon. (4/27) I didn't go in any pools for this reason, and we have a great/clean pool of our own!

^^^ TRUTH ^^^. We got off ship 2 days ago. Never noticed a "white night". There was one large group of folks (25ish) who where all dressed in white for a photo op at the Pearl.

When I hit the enter button checking in online, I found myself somehow transported to the deck of the ICON! Scared the heck outta me! I quickly hit the back button and was relieved to be back home in my easy chair. My sailing wasn't for another two weeks! YMMV Then again, it could have been a dream.

We don't drink enough to justify a drink pkg either. We're just gonna live a little and buy our 2-3 drinks ala carte. After all... We're on vacation!

Is there a "white night" on Icon? I looked at the cruise compass and did a cursory search here, but I didn't find an answer. I did see that "dress your best is days are 2 & 6 and "Caribbean" is day 4. TIA.

One thing is certain from reading here for the past year, I'm fully aware of any pitfalls and know how to avoid most of them now. For that, I thank thee and all the other contributors here.
