ATL has been a nightmare since the ordeal. Not enough man power to even see relief to get back to somewhat normal. Cancelled flights and lost bags. Then add the moods of passengers in limbo and crowds. This afternoon bad weather and flights were grounded. Need multiple back up plans just to sail the high seas.

You are staying right in heart of Ravenna. Plenty of restaurants and shops around. I have enjoyed each time staying in Ravenna before a cruise. Just be prepared from train station in Ravenna to hotel is walk towards the center. Taxis are scarce but once at hotel, everything is close from the hotel. I have never made journey from Venice. I fly into Blq then train to Ravenna. Best option on disembarking is to utilize Royal shuttles.

What was this tour called and price? I would have went to speak to Shore Excursion desk and made a major complaint. I have done Cinque Terres tour thru independent company and thoroughly enjoyed coming directly from Rome. It was a group of 10 and did train, van and ferry to numerous stops in Cinque Terres and was so enjoyable. I remember climbing all steps to lemon farm but at the top such great views with limoncello and pastries waiting. Problem is Royal omits important details in tour descriptions and with it being prime summer season, Cinque Terres is a mob scene so Royal should make tours in smaller scale size and be detailed on methods of transportation so you get to enjoy it. With crowds, heat and tour guide disorganization, it would be a miserable day. I would think twice before booking any tour with that vendor Royal used. Can't wait for next endeavor of your trip in Rome.

Malaga and Cartagena ports are quite walkable and do on your own. Barcelona port is distance from main points of interest. With crowds that target main attractions, recommend either Hop on Hop off bus if never been there to get a good grasp of area and pick your points of interest you desire to explore. There are good independent companies like Spain Day tours and Liv Tours that have great options for Spain. Majority businesses take card for payment.

Just did Bermuda in May and no issues whatsoever. Left on time and roughly 1 hr til under bridge. It does scenic around Statue of Liberty as you sail south. We did see MSC and NCL sail in distance. Enjoy your cruise

Looks like amazing weather. One would assume there was time for shopping at designer stores... What was name of this tour thru Liv Tours? Being private is it flat fee or per person? How was crowds and traffic from Port?

Well just other day mention of Delta food in the blog and there was story where a Delta flight from Detroit to Amsterdam served spoiled food and some passengers got sick. I can't even imagine. Definitely eat in the new lounge.
