It didn't come off negative. I was just saying usually in my experience the crew on the smaller ships often go above and beyond more than a larger ship. But that may no longer be the case because humans are making it harder

I am glad you had a good time despite the ship being a lowly Freedom class. I love a bigger ship because there is often so much to do but I find Freedom is a sweet spot. It isn't too small to feel lackluster and not so big you feel overwhelmed. Usually, the saving grace is the crew and I wish that you felt it, however given what some humans are doing to others, I can understand the lack of enthusiasm.

You are right the Porch is a restaurant I could get into, that polenta cake sounds divine. But I want to say given the airline shenanigans of late, Spirit might not be too bad. In all honesty, if it is a direct flight, at an appropriate time, I might not care who I fly with.

The Tuscan Grill and Lawn Grill are the only ones that fully appeal to me. I could possibly find something modified to enjoy from the other two. But the aforementioned ones are easy to do. I wonder if I can get a 2night dining package on a 4n cruise?

The new menu is currently only for the new ships. Wonder still has the standard Chop's menu, if/and/or when they do get an upgraded menu there will be an announcement like Jamie's.

This is correct. No airline is what it used to be. I also wish I could drive or take simple transportation to ports.

I have coworker who is a Platinum Million Miler, and he is always frustrated but his loyalty perks keep him flying with them. He now gives a two-day buffer when flying with them because he said it is always something.

I typically book myself solo on instant rewards and never had an issue. The only time you may pay something more is if you upgrade the room.

I hate to say it, but I avoid Delta like the plague when it comes to airlines. There system leaves a lot to be desired. They had a system malfunction in the 2010s that changed my business class flight to PE and allowed someone else to book my seat. This all happened somewhere during the 24hrs after I checked in. I had to go to the counter, present the emails with my confirmation and seat numbers booked months before. They then called the man who booked my seat and told him in front of me they made a mistake, and he would have to sit in the seat assigned to me in PE. He cursed me out like it was my fault. I have never flown with them since then. Which is to say hopefully they can get it together and you have no issues flying out on Thursday.

The sky class JS are fairly new. I think you should be fine on Utopia but on other Oasis class ships the Sky class benefits aren't the same. The regular JS are sea class, so the distinction is there.
