  1. Typical inconsistency. Had GK pizza for the first time on Wonder last week and it was pretty crispy, especially around the edges. Sorrento's continues to surprise me with how crispy it has become. Still just a late night snack for me with limited options but I've had no problem with it recently for what it is.
  2. Been busy with real life stuff as I mentioned so not sure of the specifics here but hope everything works out as smoothly as possible! FWIW, I flew Spirit once b/c it was the only non-stop to Atlantic City from here and we had a wedding to attend there. It wasn't pretty but we made it!
  3. Great meeting you as well… and then managing to run into each other at least 4-5 more times I think. Hope your family had a great time!
  4. Really? My (few) have been. Even the BOGO for night 1 we’ve made as soon as we boarded appeared sometime between then and dinner time this summer. Standard app inconsistency I guess.
  5. Oops, you'd think I'd remember my own blog titles, lol. Rough, busy week trying to re-assimilate to real life.
  6. I may not be following as closely as usual but I love all the sentimental aspects and going alone after being away with the freeloaders. Happy early anniversary! I'm sure we went over this a while back but this summer was 22 years for us as well. Every early June cruise could be for our anniversary but we really just sail as soon as school ends here and so we can go again in July with a break in between. We usually miss the actual day. Only one day late this summer.
  7. I'm quite familiar with the "wife is napping, time for a stroll" myself. The only question for me is what food venue to hit and what to use a voucher on to go with said food. ELF and the attached tequila bar has been my recent go-to but it would likely be Cafe Promenade or Sorrento's on Liberty (drink along the way from who knows where). *On Oasis class those are designated as night time snacks for me since the other places are closed. Yes, my eating plans have no bounds. Obviously this, lol.
  8. Personal preference. We just did the same exact ship/itinerary twice in the past 7 weeks and had a great time on each with very few changes from one to the other... but we sail more for the ship than the ports and enjoy our routine. Others would definitely find that boring but we're not looking for "excitement" as much as relaxation, food, some entertainment, etc. I get excited about every cruise even if there's virtually nothing new about it.
  9. BOOOOOOOOO!!! That one is more user friendly? That looked like an awfully long picture menu, lol.
  10. She's not too happy about that. Those look a little different than what I'm used to but as long as they have them.
  11. I'll be the boring captain obvious guy and say RC e-gift cards.
  12. Oops, blog not over. Wife just sent me her photo dump from Aqua Nation. That first one is a Mason Jar milkshake she brought to the show.
  13. Yes, tacos were from the truck. Our servers (Artie and Carlos) brought us everything and checked on us so frequently that I didn't actually go up to the truck though. You can see the inflatables, yes. #22 is right by the path that runs from the beach to the pool so there's a break in the umbrellas that otherwise hinder the view. That said, there are quite few inflatables out there that run a good portion of the length of the property so when I say you can see them, some of them are going to be much farther off to your left (facing the ocean). There was a family next to us in daybed #14 that spent quite a bit of time out there... then came back to eat and eventually relax in the daybed later in the day. I really do think it's good choice for families with kids or couples who just want to lounge and eat/drink. Unless you want extreme peace and quiet like Nachi, my impression is that you can make your day at PB into whatever you want. It fit that happy medium for us in between silence and a party (similar to how we find CocoCay). Cooler would definitely be nice. I likely would have eaten much more if it wasn't so hot.
