Thanks for doing this blog, Mike! I’ve enjoyed every minute I’ve spent following along with you and your wife on your Wonder-ful adventures this past week! Guess I should go read the Utopia blog now since we’ll be sailing on her in January.

No problem Mike. I’m aware of the massive computer outages this morning. Be glad you weren’t at the airport, or in a hospital having surgery when the glitch hit. Now I’m going back to where I left off reading this blog.

I hope they find a good supply of chocolate croissants for Wonder before we board in September! My backup is the chocolate frosted donuts . Good, but no match for the chocolate croissants! I’m not so sure about those chocolate cookies with what looked like pink frosting on them. Good sugar content, maybe they look better in person. We don’t have cup clips like yours but we do have cup handles that adjust to any size of the incredible shrinking soda cups that Royal seems to be using. We are asked several times a day where we got them and keep saying we could hake some money if we brought extras to sell. They’re readily available on Amazon. Most of my time in Cozumel, at least until recently has been spent under the water rather than looking at it. As I’ve gotten older I have realized that it is probably not such a good idea for me to keep diving because I started to realize the toll it was taking on my body. These days I’m sticking to snorkeling. I’m looking for beaches where DH can come with me and be comfortable while I’m in the water. We have friends sailing with us on Wonder who do not plan to get off the ship in Cozumel so DH will be hanging out with them while I go on a snorkel tour. Either that or maybe I can talk our friends into going to Sky Reef. The snorkeling is great there and it’s a beach bar with food, drinks, tequila tasting, massages, and shopping. The beach there isn’t much but there is a dock with stairs making it easy to get into the water and plenty to see once you get in. We haven’t eaten there but other friends of ours have and thought the food was good.

Paradise Beach looks nice. We may have to try it one of these days. How well could you see the ocean from where you were in your daybed? When I’m at the beach what I want to see is the ocean, not the backs of a bunch of beach chairs!

Thank you for posting the entertainment schedule Mike. I looked it over and it doesn’t look like too much has changed. Voices and Effectors 2 are both listed. Apparently I’ll be doing what I don’t want to have to do and that’s spending part of embarkation day planning rather than enjoying but it is what it s. At least I don’t see any time conflict with our MDR time and I won’t have to keep morning person DH and our morning people friends out too late. As for me, I’m good at staying up late. It’s mornings I have problems with. I think I’ve figured out where your spot is at the pool from your pictures. We are doing Coco Beach Club on Wonder so it will have to wait for Utopia in January. I think your wife and I would be great dessert buddies.

G glad you got off to a good start on your first day.! We have 55 days to go and I’m excited hearing about your day today. Love your wife’s desserts. I’ve been known to do similar dessert hacks myself a time or two. We don’t tend to do a lot of specialty restaurants, but I’d have found that Mason Jar BOGO worth considering. Excited to follow along with you this week. Makes it feel closer to our turn. Could you please post the entertainment schedule (again) for this week? I have the one from your last time on Wonder but I’d like to be able to compare. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see changes, especially in ours for September. I know things like comedians and headliners will most likely be different. You’d think they would know in advance what shows will be playing when - or maybe they’ve decided to keep the show schedule a secret until the last minute so people like me who they’ve trained to book the shows in advance go crazy waiting for the schedule to come out.

Mike, I sure wish that you and your wife would hurry up and get on that ship! I think I’m as anxious as you are, and we’re not sailing until September!

I finally got something I could do for our Utopia cruise in January! Price Drop! Not a very big one, but I’ll take what I can get. The rep tried to upsell me several times. That’s never happened to me on a price drop call before. I told him that if the price he was offering was for a 7 day cruise I’d consider it, but not for a 4 day. The problem is that he got me thinking that just maybe they’re figuring out that their prices are a bit too high so maybe, just maybe I’ll be able to upgrade at some point. At least looking for price drops will give me something to do, not that I wasn’t already doing that anyway.

They have two months to sort this show schedule out before we board! I hope that whoever is in charge gets their act together sooner than that. Don’t they know that I'm in full blown cruise planning mode now and I NEED to plan our show schedule for our cruise now while I’m in planning mode. Once we’re on board, I go into cruising mode. That means I want to be doing what I’ve previously planned, not still trying to plan what I should already be doing! Yes, I do take my cruise planning way too seriously but it’s fun for me when I can actually do it!

We used to live in CT. . When we moved to FL 20 years ago I swore I would never be one of THOSE people who took a jacket everywhere! So what the heck happened to me because now I am one of those people, worried about the ocean being too cold to swim in January and taking a jacket with me pretty much everywhere I go just in case!

Since I finally booked Utopia for the end of January I’ll be spending some time reading those blogs! I’m not so sure what this beach lover was thinking, though when I decided to book in January! I did promise DH that 4 days would be enough because this cruise is supposed to be all about the ship. Our April/May B2B turned out to be us doing circles in the Bahamas so I’m not as concerned as I usually am about the ports. Might be a bit chilly for this Floridian to spend as much time as I usually do in the water!

When you’re back on Wonder in July, we’ll be inside the 60 day mark for our Wonder cruise. Needless to say, if you’re blogging, I’ll be following. In the meantime, thank you very much for doing this blog. It has been very helpful in my own somewhat obsessive planning.

How did your donation of the school supplies go? That was a substantial bag of supplies you were toting with you! I loved your sloth and monkey interactions! I’d love to see them but my main goal is to get in the water and see some of ther reefs on Routan. I’ve never been to Routan but I’m told they’re pretty good. I did take a look at Rony’s Tours website but as of now we’re booked on the ship’s tour to Maya Key.
