By 7:15am they were already calling off luggage tags up to #30.  All tags were called by 8:00am.

Consecutive Cruisers were set to meet at the Royal Theater at 8:45.  We got there and it was a disorganized mess.  All B2B are handled differently but for this one they just handed out new SeaPass cards when you got to the theater.  You didn't "tap out" until they walked you off the ship.  

I was the only one that they had made a new card for out of the three of us in the room

They said they could manually check those cardless folks in when we got back on.

Parade through Promenade commenced.

Line up in the hallway off the gangway to be walked down through customs.

Feels a bit like Groundhog Day.

She's not too happy about that. Those look a little different than what I'm used to but as long as they have them.

Wow, how long did turnaround take? 

After seeing the pool pics, I realized they really went all out to make things look "party." Like it looks a bit garish if I say so. 

I would not participate in anything other than people watching when it comes to silent toga and beer pong. 

We were among the last B2B to get back on...we being my brother who didn't have a card. 

It was 10:15 before we all were reboarded. They had started to let the Suites and Pinnacles trickle into the terminal at that point.

No champagne for boarding this "inaugural"   I'm sure some one will mention this on the face books and re-ignite the which sailing is truly the inaugural sailing fight

About an hour.

Witnessed our first elevator argument. Someone got in our elevator and asked if we were going up or down. They were told to go to the panel and select the floor and they tried to argue that's not how it works

She wanted to get food. She wouldn't answer when we asked her which floor she wanted. She said she didn't know which floor had food and wouldn't listen to us when we pointed out the deck maps outside the elevator

Then on our way to lunch a couple stepped off the elevator on the suite deck and the husband told her to go hit the button. She jumped out and stared at where the up/down buttons are and got back in...guess they got confused when they got into the first open elevator too

We have the dining package for the 4 night and had made reservations with the concierge..or at least he told us he had made them. When we boarded none of the dining reservations showed on the app.  We went to Mason Jar as scheduled for brunch after we boarded and they didn't have us in their system.  They still sat us, so all was good.  

My mother was worried about the other reservations and the concierge wasn't scheduled to be on duty until the evening, so she went to Chops to ask. They told her we had no reservations and then they didn't have available at the exact times she wanted.  

I wasn't there for any of this thankfully for me.She did get it resolved. The concierge was available earlier than schedule. He said he sent the requests in and that he had problems with them doing this all the time.  He offered to send us wine, but my mother doesn't drink.

Disaster avoided. 

App shows reservations now. We are in Izumi sushi for our scheduled dinner. 

Reminds me of my mother when she isn't getting her way...

She has dictated to them exactly what veggies and sauce to use to make her yaki udon and until the food comes all is right with the world.

So, remind me, the Izumi has an upgrade experience, is it held at a specific time? Is the hibachi separate or is Izumi just bigger on Utopia?

Coastal Kitchen reservations the concierge made before the cruise showed up on the last leg.  I can't remember if the Genie made ones did.  We shall see in September.

Izumi is in Central Park now. The hibachi is down a bit past the sushi bar in my photo. On the other side of the far wall of the sushi bar is where they have the Omikase table which is the set menu new fancypants experience.  It's like hibachi where you don't get your own dedicated table and have to eat with strangers. We have it scheduled for Wednesday..even my mother.

Really? My (few) have been. Even the BOGO for night 1 we’ve made as soon as we boarded appeared sometime between then and dinner time this summer.

Standard app inconsistency I guess.

The infamous Espresso Martini dispenser.

I had a wonderful time on the ship. The food, casino and shows were amazing. I don't like three day cruises. I have another one August 2. This is my going back to work cruise. Thank goodness it's longer.

Who passed out hard after Izumi last night

The late nights and early mornings finally caught up with me.

At least I was up early enough for Coastal Kitchen breakfast this morning.

I always get the Baja Eggs.  They are always different on each ship/sailing.  It's a surprise what comes every time

We lounged around..lots of people apparently have never been to Nassau before. The ship is empty.

Those left on the ship according to the face books are all hiding ducks. My mother keeps dragging me all over the ship but won't tell me why or where we are going, but it's always been for a duck.  Someday I will inherit an entire suitcase to bring on a ship to hide.

Until then I will post lost and misplaced items I come across.

It was hot and gross with Playmakers being on Boardwalk and it being 12:30, but it was worth it.

The cast was having fun with it and they just dont want to let The Effectors franchise go yet apparently.  They used the Rising Tide quite a bit during the show.  

We are in port until 4:30 today and the parade was at 3:45.
